Ministries

Homeless and Campus Ministry -

At the least, every month ACTS as a group goes to the center of town and distributes food items, toiletries, and clothing essentials to the homeless. As a result, we get to personally know individuals by name and converse with them any time we see them.

As for campus, we distribute snacks, stress and study tools, as well as ACTS' contact information, to students.

Passing Tracts -

Passing tracts is easy but can be intimidating. Remembering however that the tract can be a seed leading to Jesus is a great motivator.

We pass GLOW tracts at Activities Fairs, when we table, when we distribute care packages, and at events with big crowds, such as voting season.

Campus Outreach -

Our desire is to reach the hearts of students in all five campuses in the Pioneer Valley. We do so by tabling at the beginning of the semester, by collaborating with other campus groups on beneficial events, and by offering opportunities for students to attend a church, a student-led campus service, and Bible studies.

Every year, we even travel to support a sister campus minister group in NY in their gospel mission. We also invite youth groups and speakers to speak on topics that pertain to student life.

Weekly Fellowship -

God's 7th-day Sabbath is such a blessing! It allows us as students to leave behind our stresses and come together with friends, classmates, and even professors, to study and discuss the Word of God. We make so many memories chatting, laughing, and obviously eating.

Join us and you'll know exactly why we're so excited about keeping God's holy Sabbath day in community. Whether we're around the Cadigan kitchen table, the Berk dining tables, the Florence fellowship tables, or anywhere else we plan to meet, the food and company will be worthwhile.
